Synthetic Description of the Journal
Insurance in Agriculture – Materials and Studies is the only scientific journal in Poland dedicated to agricultural insurance, published since 1999. It features research on social insurance, farmers’ health protection, and occupational medicine in rural areas. The journal brings together leading scholars and experts from renowned national and international institutions. Its work is supported by a prestigious Editorial Board.

In 2015, the journal received 5 points in the parametric evaluation of scientific journals and was classified in Part B of the official list (announcement of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of 18 December 2015).
In 2023, within the same evaluation system, the journal obtained 70 points (announcement of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of 18 July 2023).
As of 5 January 2024, the journal lost the above scoring, pursuant to the announcement of the Ministry of Science concerning the list of scientific journals and peer-reviewed materials from international conferences.
The Editorial Office has undertaken extensive efforts to enhance the journal’s appeal in line with the Ministry’s guidelines regarding standards and quality requirements for scored scientific journals.
