Is There “A Right to Have a Child”?

Abstract

The subject of this article refers to the significant issue in the contemporary world connected with family. The Author shows that to answer this question different aspects need to be analyzed: sociological, psychological, legal, theological and philosophical. Neither documents of the state law nor canon law include the statement “a right to have a child”. “A right to have a child” is very often a rejection of the natural law. The Author points to the fact that we can not accept the expression “a right to have a child”. In the article the possibility of being parents is accented.
