Smartphone Addiction as a Cause of the Inability to Create an Interpersonal Relationship

Abstract

The consequences of cell phone addiction include numerous consequences that threaten human development. The negative consequences of this type of addiction include primarily physiological, psychological, and social consequences. Psychological consequences include low self-esteem, a lack of assertiveness, a sense of lack of influence on the world around them, a sense of threat, and anxiety states characteristic of withdrawal syndrome, such as anxiety or depression. In the social sphere, the most common consequences of cell phone addiction include neglecting responsibilities and family, feelings of loneliness, limited social contact, and an inability to establish social relationships, including marital ones.
