About the Journal

Consilium Iuridicum is a quarterly publication by the National Council of the Judiciary dedicated to research in the field of legal sciences, particularly systemic, criminal, civil, and administrative law. The journal publishes articles, training materials, glosses, and reports aimed at expanding the knowledge of judges and representatives of other legal professions and shaping the proper practice of applying the law. The first part of Theoretica is intended to meet the needs of readers related to expanding and consolidating the theoretical foundations of knowledge. The second part of Practice puts emphasis on current judicial issues and the promotion of proper organization and methodology of work. The third part of Varia is journalistic in nature.

The periodical is dedicated to the study of:

  1. constitutional law,
  2. criminal law,
  3. civil law
  4. administrative law

In addition to articles, training materials, glosses, and reports are also published to expand the knowledge of judges as well as representatives of other legal professions and to shape the proper practice of law application.

The periodical includes articles on constitutional law and the activities of the National Council of the Judiciary.

Scientific level

Only articles that are original and meet the criterion of high scientific level may be published in the journal Consilium Iuridicum (see guidelines for authors).

Ensuring the high level of scientific papers published in the pages of Consilium Iuridicum is possible thanks to the reliable review procedures practiced in the Editorial Office (see review procedures) and respect for the principles of publication ethics (see ethical principles) developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

 

Editorial team

The journal is managed by the Editorial Board, chaired by Dariusz Drajewicz PhD. The advisory and control body is the International Scientific Council.

 

Periodization

Consilium Iuridicum is a quarterly journal. The first issue of the year is published in February, the second in May, the third in August and the fourth in November. Special issues are also published.

History of the magazine

The quarterly was established in 2022.
