The subject of the article is related to the analysis of the development and continuity of the cult of one of the representatives of the saints of the Catholic Church in the late Middle Ages – Saint Stanislaus Soltys, known as Kazimierz. His life and apostolic activity were integrally connected with Krakow and the provostship of the Corpus Christi monastery in Kazimierz. The cult is expressed through the veneration paid to the Saint through relics, holy images, litanies and the mausoleum. A component of the cult of the “Apostle of the Eucharist” is the patronage of extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion in the Archdiocese of Krakow.
