Abstract

The publication explains why the song Zabawa w chowanego is an artistic manifesto. The first part of the work describes Olga Sipowicz’s childhood and the specifics of an artistic manifesto. The second part of the work tells in depth about the Social Welfare Home in Jordanów and shows the stages of the artist’s activity. The third part presents the figure of Kora’s husband, and the in-depth interview with the respondent shows that the assumption presented in the title of the work has its real confirmation. The symbols and examples of physical and psychological violence presented in the work proved that the song Zabawa w chowanego is a protest song.
