Access to new technologies as well as globalisation contribute to the fact that the world is now developing much faster than ever before. The pace of changes and their impact on all spheres of our lives is enormous, which consequently forces the legislator to adopt new legal solutions. Many of them directly affect entrepreneurs. The basic intention of the article is to discuss the issues of business activity, taking into account changes taking place in EU law related to digitisation, artificial intelligence and the development of new technologies. Additionally, the issue of cybersecurity and data protection will be discussed. Taking into account the scope of issues discussed in the present article, it should be emphasised that it is not comprehensive. Therefore, the scope and level of detail of the analysis conducted by the author will be limited to the most important and selected issues.
