About the Journal

„Teka Komisji Prawniczej PAN Oddział w Lublinie” (eng. Teka Commission of Legal Sciences Polish Academy of Sciences Branch in Lublin) is a semi-annual periodical published in English by the Association of Alumni and Friends of the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Lublin (Stowarzyszenie Absolwentów i Przyjaciół Wydziału Prawa Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego). Our periodic publishes research papers addressing legal sciences and canon law. The subject of the articles refers to both present legal and socio-economic phenomena, as well as their historical and legal analysis. The journal is on the ministerial list of scoring journals (100 points). We only publish original articles that meet the criterion of a high scholarly level. The Editorial Board respects the ethical principles developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

„Teka Komisji Prawniczej PAN Oddział w Lublinie” is published by the Association of Alumni and Friends of the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Lublin (Stowarzyszenie Absolwentów i Przyjaciół Wydziału Prawa Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego).

 

Thematic scope of the journal

The periodical is devoted to studies in the field of:

  1. administrative, constitutional, civil, criminal, commercial, European, international
  2. canon law
  3. history of law and theory of law

Reviews and glosses are also published in the journal.

  1. Articles can be published by persons with at least the doctoral degree.
  2. The journal publishes texts only in English (written by both Polish and foreign authors) both in a printed version as well as they are available free of charge in full (Open access) on the journal’s website.
  3. The subject of the articles refers to both present legal and socio-economic phenomena, as well as their historical and legal analysis.

History of the journal

„Teka Komisji Prawniczej PAN Oddział w Lublinie” is a scholarly journal published since 2008 as an annual by the Polish Academy of Sciences; since 2019 published jointly by the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Association of Alumni and Friends of the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Lublin; since 2020 published by the Association of Alumni and Friends of the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Lublin. The periodical has been published as a semi-annual periodical since 2018.  

Under the decision of the District Court in Lublin, 1st Civil Division, dated 20 May 2021 (ref. no. I NS Rej. Pr. 18/21), „Teka Komisji Prawniczej PAN Oddział w Lublinie” was entered in the Register of Journals and Magazines under item Rej. Pr. 1634.
