The investigation concerning the imprisonment of Primate Stefan Wyszyński was conducted in the Commission of the Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation in Warsaw in 2001-2006. The proceedings, after gathering extensive evidence, was discontinued pursuant to Art. 17 § 1 point 5 of the Code of Criminal Procedure because of the statement that the perpetrators of the act are dead.
