Status of the representative of the person indicated as the perpetrator in the case pend-ing before State Commission for counteracting sexual abuse of minors under 15 years of age

Abstract

The State Commission for counteracting sexual abuse of minors under 15 years of age has the authority to conduct investigative proceedings, as a result of which the personal data of an individual identified as an offender may be entered into the Register of Sexual Offenders. During the investigative proceedings, the person identified as the offender has the opportunity to seek the assistance of a representative. It becomes necessary to determine the status and rights of such a representative.
