The homily is an integral part of the Church’s liturgical activity and one of the primary means of communicating with the faithful. Through homiletic preaching, the truths of faith and morality proclaimed by the Church are conveyed, passages from the Holy Scriptures are explained, and the faith of the people of God is awakened, strengthened, and affirmed. This article aims to outline certain issues identified in the synodal syntheses, both Polish and European, concerning the method and quality of preaching.
