The parish of St. Catherine in Zgierz was established in the 12th or 13th century. It possessed many valuable items, which were looted by the German occupiers during World War II. The article presents the looted items, which were identified during a project co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. The basis for compiling a list of the parish’s losses was the “fundi instructi” inventory and documentation produced after the end of the Second World War.
