Abstract

After World War II, as a result of political transformations, the existing regulations on securities and the capital market in Poland, as institutions characteristic of the capitalist system, lost their practical significance. Among the regulations regulating securities issues, only the regulations of the bill of exchange law and the check law remained in force, because to a certain, although limited extent, they turned out to be useful in the so-called "socialized trade".
