The Aim & Thematic Scope of the Journal
“Teka Komisji Prawniczej PAN Oddział w Lublinie” is a semi-annual periodical published in English by the Association of Alumni and Friends of the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Lublin.
The aim of the journal is to enable the exchange of knowledge and experience on both the national and the international forum. The periodical contains original scientific works presenting important legal issues for both theoreticians and practitioners. “Teka Komisji Prawniczej PAN Oddział w Lublinie” is a forum for the exchange of views, formulation of de lege lata conclusions and de lege ferenda postulates, while allowing Authors, Reviewers and Readers to polemicize on contemporary legal issues. The aim of the journal is to present the scientific achievements abroad. The fact that since 2021 the semi-annual has been published entirely in English has an impact on the popularize of the journal’s content and on expanding the group of Readers.
The subject of the articles refers to both legal and socio-economic phenomena, as well as their historical and legal analysis. The thematic scope of the journal refers to secular law (administrative, constitutional, civil, criminal, commercial, European, international) and canon law, as well as history of law and theory of law. Reviews and glosses are also published in the journal.
In addition, the issues 2022/2, 2023/1 and 2023/2 also published articles from the disciplines of medical biology, health sciences and biological sciences (in accordance with the Announcement of the Minister of Education and Science regarding the amendment and correction of the announcement on the list of scientific journals and peer-reviewed inter-national conference proceedings). In accordance with the Announcement of the Minister of Science of 5 January 2024 regarding the list of scientific journals and peer-reviewed inter-national conference proceedings, the following disciplines have been assigned to the journal: legal sciences and canon law.
