Review process
The review procedure follows the recommendations of COPE Committee on Publication Ethics.
All texts published in the „Teka Komisji Prawniczej PAN Oddział w Lublinie” are subject to a review procedure beforehand.
The Editorial Board of the „Teka Komisji Prawniczej PAN Oddział w Lublinie”, together with the members of the Advisory Board, performs a preliminary assessment of submitted papers in terms for compliance with the publishing profile, the purpose and scope of the journal and applicable formal requirements. To prevent plagiarism, the journal’s editorial team relies on an anti-plagiarism system Similarity Check.
The Secretary of the Editorial Team delivers the text to two independent peer reviewers for review. The reviewers must not be affiliated with the same entity/institution as the Author’s. When assessing the material submitted for publication, the following aspects are given priority: originality, content quality, sources of law and literature, methodology. Reviews are made in writing and contain unambiguous recommendations to accept or reject a contribution.
The reviewers do not know the Author (Authors) of the reviewed paper, nor do they know about each other (i.e. double-blind review). When selecting the reviewers, the Editorial Team take into account their competence and all circumstances regarding conflicts of interest.
The list of reviewers is provided on the journal’s website (see: Reviewers).
