The article explores the issue of the proper formation and education of youth in the context of preparing them for marriage and establishing a family. Drawing on the thought of Aristotle, St. Augustine, and the teachings of John Paul II, the author highlights the natural human need to seek the truth and base the educational process on a positive value system, with particular emphasis on the Decalogue. The text distinguishes between the concepts of formatio and educatio, emphasizing their complementarity in the process of personal development. It analyzes the primary role of parents in education, as well as the responsibilities of supporting institutions, including the Church and the State, in light of the Code of Canon Law and the Constitution of the Republic of Poland. The article stresses the importance of protecting the identity of marriage against contemporary harmful social trends and the need for continuous improvement of formation methods, which serve as the foundation of a healthy society and nation.
