The author considers the, as yet undiscussed, issue of necessary defence against psychological violence. He concludes that a victim of psychological violence should not use physical violence in self-defence against psychological violence. The exceptions include situations when the victim is convinced that the aggressor will also attack them physically, or if the victim does not have the ability or aptitude to defend themselves in any other way than by using physical violence. Then, according to the author, such a defence is allowed.
