The article addresses the issue of the relationship between the conservation officer’s permit for construction works on buildings listed in the cultural heritage register and the decision granting a building permit. The legislator has only specified that a conservation officer’s permit is necessary for carrying out construction work on a heritage property, as well as for obtaining a decision granting a building permit. Considering that the legislator has not determined the connection between these administrative acts, it is pertinent to examine the relationships between the conservation officer’s permit and the decision granting a building permit, which is the aim of this article.
