Fr Władysław Miegoń is the only alumnus of the Catholic University of Lublin who was beatified. He was a student at the Faculty of Canon Law. In the article the Author presents a biography of Fr Miegoń who was an ordinary student at the Faculty of Canon Law. Then, there is described the martyrdom and cult of the Blessed from the perspective of the beatification proceedings.
