Rules and Regulations of the Scientific Journal ‘European Review of Law and International
Relations’
Annex No.1 to the Decision of the Rector of the European University of Law and Administration No.
3/02/2022 from February 1, 2022.
§ 1
1. ‘European Review of Law and International Relations’ is a scientific journal dedicated to law,
international relations, political science and administration.
2. This document regulates general rules of functioning of the ‘European Review of Law and
International Relations’ journal (hereinafter referred to as the Journal) and the scope of rights and
obligations of individual people and organs involved in the publishing process.
3. The publishing process of the Journal involves: Editorial Board and Programme Board appointed by
the Rector of the European University of Law and Administration in Warsaw. Content-related
supervision of the Journal is exercised by the Rector of the University.
§ 2
1. Editorial Board of the Journal accepts texts called articles concerning subjects specified in § 1 sec.
1.
2. Editorial Board comprises the following members: editor-in-chief, editorial assistant and associate
editorial assistant.
§ 3
Every decision concerning the substantive content of the Journal is made by the editor-in-chief in
cooperation with the editorial assistant. The editorial assistant and his associate manage the
organization of the publishing process.
§ 4
The Programme Board of the Journal is a collective scientific body supporting the Editorial Board in
content-related measures through:
1. initiating the subjects, including possible thematic issues;
2. conducting periodic substantive evaluation of the functioning of the Journal at least once a year.
The meetings of the Programme Board are convened by the Chairman, who presents the program of
the meeting to the Members of the Board.
§ 5
The Texts presented for publication in the Journal should be original i.e. not previously published in
any other periodical or scientific publication. Furthermore, they cannot be submitted for publication in any other publishing company. The author is obligated to sign appropriate statement confirming
original character of his work.
§ 6
It is required from the author to grant the European University of Law and Administration Publishing
House the rights to print author’s text in the paper version of the ‘European Review of Law and
International Relations’, to distribute it in scientific purposes and to publish submitted text in full or in
part in the digital form on the web site and in the SIP LEX (Legal Information Service). The author is
obligated to sign appropriate agreement of transfer of copyright to his work.
§ 7
The texts should be submitted in digital version saved in a DOC file, via email, to the address of the
editorial assistant or saved on a data storage medium (CD or USB memory stick) to the address:

§ 8
The editing style of the submitted text should comply with the standards set forth by the Publishing
House available for public on the website under the Information for authors tab.
§ 9
The texts not complying with the requirements set forth herein will not be reviewed and published.
The Editorial Board reserves the right to edit submitted texts. Every text published in the Journal is
reviewed beforehand.
§ 10
After the end of the publishing cycle in a given year, the list of the reviewers will be available on the
Journal’s website.
§ 11
The Rules and Regulations of the scientific journal ‘European Review of Law and International
Relations’ enters into force on the date of its adoption by the Rector of the European University of
Law and Administration in Warsaw.
