The aim of the article is to attempt to show how the culture of the Land of the Rising Sun is often infantilized and trivialized on breakfast television. Three years of broadcasting were selected for detailed analysis, which allow us to look at the issue and draw conclusions. The publication attempts to answer the following questions: what content about Japan is most often discussed by journalists? How is the subject matter related to the culture of the Land of the Rising Sun infantilized and simplified in “Question for Breakfast”? Has the style of talking about Japan and its culture changed or is it becoming professionalized over the years? The author used the content analysis method.
