Adapting electronic forms of employment to EU standards

  • Andrzej Marian Świątkowski

Abstract

The author, analysing the attempts of EU institutions aimed at developing a uniform definition of the status of people employed on digital platforms, argues that as the law currently stands it is more justifiable to continue the practice of developing precedents in the case law of the CJEU, guaranteeing minimum standards of employment for the current non-employees and self-employed persons working within digital platforms.
