It has been perceived for a long time. Scientists from Forensic Facility in University of Lodz returned to this issue in order to examine what has been changed during several years, what is the condition of forensics, what is the current subject of this matter and range of loopholes and last but not least what is the perspective for their removal. In this paper, preliminary reflections has been presented. The authors conducted a study of opinions received from the most prominent theorists of forensics, law enforce-ment practitioners, prosecution, employees of research institutions in the field of criminology and forensic medicine.
The opinions were used to create the new catalog of loopholes and to estimate the circumstances that cause loopholes. The study also gave opportunity to assess the possibility of their removal.
