In the article, the Author defines such terms as “Catholic social teaching”, “foster family” and “child”. First of all, he emphasizes that the Catholic social teaching, that is guided by the Church constituting 18% of the human family, is defined primarily in the teaching of the Second Vatican Council, the 1983 Code of Canon Law and the post-conciliar and post-Codex normative acts. Then the Author analyzes the basic obligations of a foster family in the understanding of the Catholic social teaching.
