Abstract

The paper presents the issue of abusive terms in contracts for the provision of educational services. The analysis covers clauses in a contract where one side is the provider of educational services (e.g. a university, language school or educational centre) and the second side is the consumer, most often a student or trainee. The most important normative regulations concerning the discussed issues, which are the subject of the Civil Code, the Consumer Rights Act and the Act on Higher Education and Science, were presented.
