She researches the latest linguistic and communication phenomena in contemporary media. She specializes in creative marketing communication, information architecture, poetics of interactive texts, advertising rhetoric and the language of public speaking.
As an experienced teacher, she has been coordinating the implementation of creative student projects for years regarding the use of modern interactive communication tools in the area of social media, as well as online and multimedia journalism. For several years, she has been co-editor of the publishing series entitled "Ideas, values, words".

Ola Majchrzak holds a PhD in humanities, in the field of linguistics. Her scientific interests focus on the relationship between emotions and writing in a foreign language, the possibilities of creating a new self in a foreign language (mainly in the process of writing in this language), the benefits of regular practice of journaling in a foreign language, and the factors influencing the change of attitude towards writing in a foreign language. She works at the University of Humanities and Economics in Lodz, Poland, where she runs academic courses in the area of developing writing skills in a foreign language for students of English philology. She is the author and convenor of a Creative Writing course for first-year English philology students and an online course in academic writing. In her teaching practice, she draws from alternative trends to education, positive psychology, and mindfulness. She is the author of the book Learner Identity and Learner Beliefs in EFL Writing.
