Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The author of the article declares that:
    − his rights to the work are not restricted in any way;
    − the publication of the article by the Publisher does not infringe on the rights of third parties; in particular, he declares that his article is completely original and does not contain any hidden borrowings from another work of any kind. Claims for infringement of third party rights will be addressed to the Author.
  • The author transfers to the Publisher the right to exploit the article in all fields of this exploitation, in particular, such as fixation, reproduction by a specific technique, introduction into circulation, introduction into computer memory, sale in electronic version, distribution, providing access via the Internet, including graphic materials on the cover and inside the work, making electronic copies and their modifications to make Electronic Publications available, use and publication of trademarks and logos used on the publication both in the Electronic Publication and on all used to sell and promote products and services.
  • The Author acknowledges that he is entitled to 1 author's copy of the above publication with the author's paper.
  • The author declares that any errors unnoticed in the author's proofreading (after editorial corrections, just before going to print) are the author's responsibility.
  • I agree to publish my e-mail address given in the statement.

Author Guidelines

Authors are asked to follow the following rules for text preparation:

  • The document should be submitted electronically, in. DOC file (Word program) and in printed form; Times New Roman font, 12 points, line spacing 1.5 lines).
  • The units discussed in the papers (words, phrases) are italicized.
  • Quotations included in the text are written in quotation marks, longer quotations (more than two lines) - in separate paragraphs, in smaller font, and without quotation marks.
  • We give the meanings of words in so-called paws.
  • We highlight keywords in bold.
  • Bottom footnotes are obligatory. Separate the individual elements of the bibliographic address with commas. In footnotes, we use Polish abbreviations: ibid, dz.cyt., incipit of the title in case of citing more than one work of a given author.
  • All tables and graphs must be numbered, with title and source.
  • The bibliography is prepared according to the following formula:
    Name initial, year of publication, Title, place of publication, and page numbers.
  • If the publication has many authors, we give all the names. In italics, we give the titles of books, chapters, and articles. In quotation marks, we give the titles of journals.
  • Bibliographic items should be arranged alphabetically by authors' names. Works by a single author should be arranged alphabetically by title.
  • Due to the introduction of the electronic version of the journal, links to websites must be active and verified by the author before submitting the text to the editor with the date of access to the site described.   • For articles written in Cyrillic script, the bibliography must also be included in English transcription BGN/PCGN.
  • Articles submitted to the journal should not exceed the volume of 1.5 publication sheets (up to 60 thousand zzs). Articles in conference languages (English, German, Russian, French, and Italian) are preferred.
  • Please include a short abstract (up to 15 lines) with the title and keywords in Polish and English.
  • Please include your title or degree, address of the scientific centre represented, private address, telephone number, and e-mail address.
  • Information about the sources of research financing, which the author will be asked about when submitting the article, will be published next to other metadata on the first page of the text.

Privacy Statement

INFORMATION OBLIGATION CLAUSE

Following the orders of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons concerning the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC "GDPR", the Academy of Humanities and Economics in Łódz, 90-212 Łódz, 26 Sterlinga Street, provides the necessary information regarding the processing of personal data.

  1. The Administrator of your personal data is the Academy of Humanities and Economics in Łódź, 26 Sterlinga Street, 90-212 Łódź. The Administrator can be contacted via e-mail address uczelnia@ahe.lodz.pl or in writing to the Administrator's registered office address with the note "Personal data protection".
  2. The Administrator informs that to properly protect personal data, he has appointed a Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted at e-mail: iod@ahe.lodz.pl. In all matters concerning the processing of personal data and the exercise of your rights related to the processing of personal data, you can contact the Data Protection Officer.
  3. The legal basis for processing your personal data is GDPR, Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Point f). The legitimate interest of the Data Controller is to contact the Author in connection with the preparation of the article (work) and possible investigation or repudiation of claims. Your personal data may also be processed based on Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Point a) of the GDPR to the extent and for the purpose indicated in the content of the voluntarily expressed consent to process personal data, which may be revoked at any time. The provision of personal data is voluntary but necessary for the above purposes of the Administrator. Personal data are not subject to automated processing, including profiling.
  4. Personal data will be processed for the time necessary to secure possible claims until they become time-barred for the period required by law. If the basis for data processing is consent, personal data will be processed until revoked.
  5. The recipients of personal data may be external entities supplying and supporting the Administrator's IT systems, as well as other entities cooperating with the Administrator in the scope of current activities –- under appropriate agreements for entrustment of personal data processing, and with the provision of appropriate technical and organizational measures by the above-mentioned entities to ensure data protection. Personal data may also be made accessible to entities authorized under the applicable laws. Personal data, in principle, will not be transferred to a third country or international organization. However, there may be situations in which personal data may be transferred to countries outside of the European Economic Area, nevertheless, in this case, the Administrator will ensure all formalities related to the proper safeguarding of personal data, among others, the use of standard contract clauses accepted by the Commission (EU).
  6. Each person whose data is processed, to the extent provided by law, has the right to access his/her data and to rectify, erase, limit processing, the right to object to processing, as well as the right to data portability.
  7. You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time - if the basis for data processing is consent, and withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out based on consent before its withdrawal.
  8. In case of doubts related to the processing of personal data, any person may request information from the Administrator. Notwithstanding the foregoing, anyone has the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority - the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
