Abstract

The subject of the article is the figure of Father Michael Lewek, one of the outstanding priests of the Katowice diocese. The article focuses on his merits related to the period of the Uprising and the Plebiscite in Upper Silesia, his priestly work in various aspects. His constant interest in social and national issues is highlighted, as is his activity in the Union of Priests 'Unitas'.
