Our wonderful colleague Kamila Nowicka-Kiliś was a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Lodz and a retired police officer (she graduated from the Police Academy in Szczytno in 1990, obtaining the first rank in the officer corps). She worked for more than 30 years at the Central Forensic Laboratory of the Police Headquarters – first as a technician and then as a document examination expert. In 2003, she was appointed head of the Documentary Research and Audiovisual Techniques Division of the CLK KGP. She had outstanding teaching skills; she prepared 26 police document examination experts for the profession. She has conducted many training sessions for banks and insurance institutions in the field of signature authentication as one of the methods of confirming the authenticity of documents in financial transactions and preventing fraud and extortion.
She has actively participated in national and international conferences and symposia on document examination and financial crime risk management.
Since 1992, she has served as an expert witness in forensic document examination at the Warsaw District Court. She was also an expert, certified by the Polish Forensic Association and one of the outstanding specialists in the field.
For many years she was an active member of the Polish Forensic Association; since 2006, she has held the responsible position of secretary of the General Board.
Kama, in our memory, you will always remain a person who enjoys universal sympathy, trust and appreciation and is open, kind and friendly.
