
The article discusses the concept of hybrid remote work, which was introduced into the Polish legal system by an amendment to the Labour Code (effective from 7 April 2023), adding Chapter IIc on remote work. The aim is to analyze the new legal institution and
assess its shape in the context of social changes, the reconciliation of professional and work-life balance, the consequences of its implementation for international mobility, including the situation of Ukrainians on the labour market, the position of privileged
persons in terms of a binding request to the employer, the importance of remote work for the labour market and employment, as well as for the possibility of maintaining continuity of work by Ukrainians, who are sometimes forced into ad hoc mobility due to the
difficult political situation.
