Chrystology is a distinctive discipline within Christian theology that sets it apart from other religions. The entire reflection of the Church revolves around the person of Jesus Christ, His nature, and the work of salvation accomplished through His life and ministry. This paper aims to outline the theological reflection of one of the most prominent Catholic theologian in Poland, Father Wacław Hryniewicz. The paper will begin by presenting this theologian’s understanding of the concept of salvation history. Subsequently, against the backdrop of salvation history, the christological thought of the theologian from Lublin will be elucidated. The paper will describe the Christocentrism of Father Hryniewicz’s theological thought and the incarnational christological model he presented in his writings on the Paschal trilogy. Finally, the person of Jesus Christ will be presented as the culmination of the salvific work of God Himself. Jesus will be portrayed, in accordance with Father Hryniewicz’s theological perspective, as the embodiment of hope for eternal life, revealed to humanity through His resurrection by God.
