Jan Kwolk's literary legacy includes a manuscript with a monographic sketch of the first Polish theological journal, "The Friend of Christian Truth", published in Przemyśl in 1833-1840. "The Friend of Christian Truth". The manuscript consists of 95 pages in notebook format, written on one side with wide margins. Surviving working notes and correspondence show that the author began this work in 1933, the 100th anniversary of the publication of the first annual of the magazine. The above manuscript was prepared for printing in the pages of Our Past by Fr. Dominik Bialic. He provided it with a suitable preface, epilogue and footnotes.
