Abstract

The Gniezno Seminary is one of the oldest theological institutions in Poland. In the territory of the Gniezno Archdiocese, it was chronologically the second institution of its kind, after the Kalisz Seminary founded in 1581. This article attempts to reconstruct the early history of the Gniezno Seminary.
