Abstract

The paper presents the problem of differentiation of human and animal bones. Based on a review of the literature, the authors analyzed methods for differentiating bones, motivated by the need to systematize knowledge in the field of forensic veterinary medicine and the small number of publications addressing this issue. In this way, the current state of knowledge on this issue in the face of advances in modern forensic science and the achievements of archaeology were examined.
