During World War II, in exile, the publication of only one pre-war Polish military-religious magazine was continued, which was “Internal Order of Military Bishop” (published from 1936 in Warsaw). The article is also devoted to two new military-religious magazines: “The teaching of Christ “ (issued since 1940) and “In the name of God” (issued since 1941), which in 1945 was published in 50,000 copies, the largest among Polish magazines in exile during World War II). The author of the article argues that we were dealing with an unusual feedback at that time, because the Polish military press (including military and religious) in exile during World War II enjoyed the greatest popularity among the soldiers of the Polish Armed Forces in the West, and at the same time this press had a very a strong contribution to strengthening the spiritual and moral strength of Polish soldiers, “the most pious pilgrims” and “true Christian knights” (words of the Holy Father Pius XII).
