The article presents basic legal principles of juvenile labor in the field of economic management. In particular, such organizational and legal forms of economic entities as individual entrepreneur, private enterprise, farming enterprise, and cooperative were considered. A minor who has reached 16 years and expressed the desire to be an entrepreneur can register as an individual entrepreneur at the Uniform State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Associations provided there is a written permission from parents to engage in entrepreneurial activity. Citizens have the right to conduct economic activities not only as individual entrepreneurs, but also to establish a private enterprise. The current legislation does not explicitly stipulates for the possibility of an underage person to be a founder of an enterprise, but there are also no specific requirements for an individual who intends to set up a private enterprise. Minors may be members of a farming enterprise, but they can not be founders, since their right of establishment will only appear after reaching 18 years. Minors have the right to be members in cooperatives. As for underage founders of cooperatives, there are no clearly defined special requirements in legislation for an individual who intends to be founder of such an organizational-legal form. Also, the article provides legislative initiatives regarding improving the provisions of existing normative documents and the adoption of new legislative acts aimed at protecting the legal rights and interests of minors in Ukraine.
