Pope Francis established three economic and administrative structures in the Roman Curia: the Secretariat for the Economy, the Council for the Economy, and the office of Auditor General. These entities are competent for the control and vigilance of the dicasteries of the Roman Curia and other institutions linked to the Holy See. Furthermore, the Roman Pontiff transferred the Ordinary Section of the Administration of the Patrimony of the Apostolic See to the Secretariat for the Economy.
