Abstrakt
Celem niniejszego artykułu jest wyjaśnienie i krytyczna analiza procesu opracowania Skali Przekonań Postkrytycznych (PCBS), wykorzystywanej w ramach projektu „Wzmacnianie tożsamości szkół katolickich” (ECSI) w różnych krajach. Projekt ten opiera się na założeniu, że w zsekularyzowanym i pluralistycznym społeczeństwie optymalnym rozwiązaniem dla katolika jest wiara postkrytyczna. Skala PCBS jest narzędziem diagnostycznym wykorzystywanym w ramach projektu do oceny tożsamości katolickiej kadry i uczniów szkół katolickich. W pierwszej części artykułu przedstawiono skalę PCBS wraz z jej kategoriami: wiarą dosłowną (literalną afirmacją / ortodoksją [orthodoxy]), niewiarą dosłowną (literalnym zaprzeczeniem / krytyką zewnętrzną), relatywizmem (symbolicznym zaprzeczeniem / świadomością kontyngencji) oraz wiarą postkrytyczną (wtórną naiwnością). Następnie wyjaśniono znaczenie pojęć Paula Ricœura – wtórnej naiwności, symbolu, demistyfikacji i demitologizacji – dla opracowania skali PCBS. W dalszej kolejności artykuł ukazuje, w jaki sposób David Wulff przyjmuje i adaptuje idee Ricœura w celu opracowania heurystycznego schematu poglądów w psychologii religii. Następnie pokazuje, jak Dirk Hutsebaut wykorzystuje schemat Wulffa jako podstawę do opracowania PCBS. Dalej artykuł przedstawia kilka poważnych problemów związanych z PCBS, skupiając się w szczególności na kategoriach relatywizmu i wiary postkrytycznej (wtórnej naiwności). Po tym następuje krótkie podsumowanie sześciu fundamentalnych wad ujawnionych w analizie PCBS: 1) rozumienie przez Ricœura fałszywej świadomości, 2) demitologizacja, 3) protestanckie założenia Wulffa dotyczące hermeneutyki biblijnej, 4) częściowe, a nie pełne przyjęcie schematu Ricœura przez Wulffa oraz schematu Wulffa przez Hutsebauta, 5) odmienne i nieporównywalne perspektywy Ricœura, Wulffa i Hutsebauta oraz 6) uniwersalizacja osobistego doświadczenia przez Ricœura, Wulffa i Hutsebauta. Artykuł kończy się przedstawieniem fundamentalnej wady teologicznej PCBS: niemożności rozróżnienia między wiarą naturalną a wiarą nadprzyrodzoną, spowodowanej brakiem jakiejkolwiek teologii łaski.
