The article deals with the legal aspects of implementing a compliance management system in the public sector, using the example of the mining sector. Taking into account the achievements of administrative law and European Union law, the author points to a new legal issue, which is at the stage of implementation into the national system of law. In pursuing the research objective, the author analyses the legal aspects of implementing the Compliance management system by public entities. In particular, the author analyses the compliance management systems of two listed companies in the mining sector. As a result of the legal analysis, the author concluded that the legal basis for the implementation of Compliance management systems in the mining sector should have its legal basis in the Geological and Mining Law.
