Restrictions on Human Rights and Freedoms and Health Condition and Life Satisfaction During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract

The article presents the discussion between the freedoms and human rights resulting from the Constitution of the Republic of Poland and the limitations related to the COVID-19 pandemic and analyzes the impact of these limitations on the physical and mental health of citizens. The article presents research conducted on a sample of 523 people on the mental and physical condition of the respondents and their relationship with the perception of limitations, hopelessness and the use of psychoactive substances. The article ends with the practical implications of the research.
