Issues concerning the principles of cooperation of Church and State was reflected in the teaching of the Second Vatican Council. For its object has been adopted a common good. However, it could not be secured, and thus the principle of cooperation would be ineffective without an additional warranty. Therefore, the Council, addicted the existence and the implementation of this principle from the others principles. Recognized as the basis for relations, the principle of respect a pluralistic society, without which, there could not be proclaimed next principles: freedom of religion and autonomy and mutual independence of the Church and State. Only respect for these principles enables the existence and the justifies of the raison d'etre of healthy cooperation between Church and State.
