Abstract

In the Catholic Church punishment is rare. The Code of Canon Law of 1983 contains the standards of the penal process which apply: 1) the preliminary investigation, 2) the development of the process 3) an action to repair damages. Receiving knowledge, which at least seems true, of a delict by the competent organ, which is the ordinary is a condition for initiating the preliminary investigation. He decides to start the extrajudicial process which is the administrative process and he is required to keep the order specified in the can. 1720 CIC.
