The Domestic Church, the family branch of the Light‑Life Movement, has been an integral part of the life of the Church in Częstochowa since 1973. It emerged in parallel with the development of the movement in Poland, in close connection with the diocesan family ministry. Its structure includes parish circles and regions corresponding to pastoral regions, currently gathering around 200 married couples in 44 circles. The fruits of its formation include numerous initiatives serving the entire diocesan community: radio broadcasts, Jasna Góra vigils, the “Dobro Liturgii” group, musical initiatives, nativity theatre productions, spousal prayer meetings, and many others. On the centenary of the archdiocese, the Domestic Church stands out as a dynamic environment for the formation of families and the support of the local Church’s mission.
