Modus operandi of the perpetrators of abuse under article 207 § 1 of the Criminal Code

Abstract

In the article the authors present the issue of violence with particular regard to the abuse of codified in article 207 § 1 of the Criminal Code. The topic of physical and psychological abuse, including economic abuse, is discussed in detail. The types of perpetrators of violence and techniques used by the perpetrator to explain their behavior were listed. Criminogenic factors were also indicated. In the further part of the study, the results of the conducted researches have been described as follows: general information about perpetrators and victims of abuse and examples of modus operandi of the perpetrators of abuse.
