The purposes of our analysis are the differentiation in the number of suicide acts compared with the gender, age and the place of live of victims. Furthermore the analysis contains the correlation the number of suicide with the general information about
the number of citizens and number of deaths. To the analysis we used the data form the Statistical Yearbook of Central Statistical Office for the interval of years 2000–2014. Data about 5.601.400 cases of death including 90.463 suicides were used. The analysis
of suicide factor shows also that the suicide act is a reason of death in interval of 1,2% in 2007 and over 2,7% in 2014. What is more the suicide ratio in villages and cities is on the same level. In terms of sex differences men dominated over women. The suicide
is the main problem of people in age of 31 up to 50- in this age group the number of suicide is the highest, but form the 2012 also the high number of suicide is also noted in group in age of 51 up to 70. The lowest number of suicide was observed in group of
the youngest people (up to 14 years old). Poland is one of the countries with the highest suicide factor in Europe.
