This article indicates which parishes belonged to the Przemyśl deanery in the period from 1785 to 1841. Then it presents the biographies of Przemyśl deans from that period: priest Józef Rzepecki, priest Grzegorz Jan Dąbkowski and priest Michał Czerniawski. The key issue presented in this article is the description of the Żurawica parish prepared in 1816 by priest Grzegorz Jan Dąbkowski, which is the result of a dean’s visit conducted by him in that year. The description, prepared in the form of tables, presents the historical documentation of the parish, the parish’s benefice and the localities that were part of its jurisdiction. It shows the condition of the parish buildings and the inventory. It describes, in quite detail, the life and activities of parish priest Stefan Dzianotta and of his assistant priest Honoriusz Stankiewicz.
