
In the article was presented a problem of synodality in particular Churches. The synodality and councility of the Church is enriching by Catholic tradition, in both the Latin and the Eastern. Each particular Church has a synodal character, which expresses par excellence through the diocesan synod, and also a councility character, which expresses by participation in the Ecumenical Council and particular councils (provincial and plenary). The article describes a hierarchical diocesan communion, diocesan synodality, institution of diocesan synod and synodality of particular Church, for which the responsibility rests on the diocesan bishop and the faithful of his diocese.
