The Author presents the history of International Association of Procedural Law, beginning with the first congress of procedural law that took place in 1950 in Florence. He presents the following congresses and symposium, outlining their subject-matter and output, as well as the contribution of the most eminent members of the Association. The composition of the past and current authorities is shown, as well as their plans concerning future congresses and workshops until 2010.
