Social media has become an important factor affecting the rule of law, both positively and negatively. In order to protect the rule of law, freedom of expression also privacy, adequate regulations and effective technologies should be implemented and the media education should be developed. Cooperation between social media platforms and governments, NGOs and the public is also important. This will enable the creation of a sustainable, secure, and most importantly, democratic, online environment, providing
a space for citizens to act on behalf of society.
