The article lists the general conditions conducive to Poland’s security. Poland’s accession to the United Nations, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the European Union laid the groundwork for permanently anchoring the state in security structures. This has strengthened the state’s position in international relations and opened up new opportunities to influence the European security zone, cooperate and identify threats. This process affects the formation of the security environment in Poland’s immediate vicinity. It also clearly affects the formation of Poland’s internal security policy.
